📝 Plot Summary
In 507 A.D., the kingdom of Denmark is terrorized by Grendel, a monstrous creature who attacks the mead hall of King Hrothgar. The Geatish warrior Beowulf arrives to slay Grendel and succeeds by tearing off the creature's arm, leading to Grendel's death.
Grendel's Mother, a seductive and vengeful being, seeks retribution. Beowulf confronts her in her lair but is seduced into a pact, leading to the birth of a dragon. Years later, as King, Beowulf faces the consequences of his past actions when the dragon threatens his kingdom. In a climactic battle, Beowulf defeats the dragon but is mortally wounded. He confesses his sins to his loyal companion Wiglaf before dying.
The film explores themes of heroism, temptation, and the burdens of legacy, offering a modern and visually striking interpretation of the classic epic poem.
