🧩 Plot Summary
Black Widow delves into the untold story of Natasha Romanoff, the formidable Avenger known as Black Widow. Set between the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War, the film follows Natasha as she confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises.
After the events of Civil War, Natasha is on the run and forced to confront her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger. She reunites with her "sister" Yelena Belova, their surrogate parents Alexei Shostakov and Melina Vostokoff, to dismantle the Red Room—the covert Soviet training program that turned young girls into deadly assassins.
As they delve deeper, they uncover that the Red Room is still operational under the control of General Dreykov, who uses mind control to manipulate the Widows. The team devises a plan to free the Widows from Dreykov's grasp, leading to intense action sequences and emotional revelations. The film culminates in a showdown at the Red Room's aerial facility, where Natasha confronts Dreykov and faces off against Taskmaster, ultimately liberating the Widows and finding closure in her past.
