📖 Plot Summary

Act 1: Discovery

Jake Portman, a teenager from Florida, is haunted by the mysterious death of his grandfather, Abraham. Following his grandfather's cryptic last words, Jake travels to Cairnholm, Wales, to uncover the truth. There, he discovers the ruins of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children and learns that the children possess unique abilities. 

Act 2: Unveiling Peculiarities

Jake befriends the peculiar children: 

  • Emma Bloom: Can levitate.

  • Olive Abroholos Elephanta: Produces fire from her hands.

  • Enoch O'Connor: Can animate the dead.

  • Millard Nullings: Invisible.

  • Horace Somnusson: Has prophetic dreams.

  • Fiona Frauenfeld: Controls plants.

  • Hugh Apiston: Harbors bees inside him.

  • Claire Densmore: Possesses a mouth on the back of her head.

Act 4: Resolution

With Barron defeated, Jake decides to remain with the peculiar children, embracing his newfound family and responsibilities. Miss Peregrine, having been temporarily incapacitated, resumes her role as protector, and the children continue to live within their time loop, safe from harm.
