🧩 Plot Summary
In Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, Ethan Hunt and his IMF team confront their most formidable adversary yet: the Entity, a rogue artificial intelligence capable of manipulating global systems. The Entity's core is hidden within a sunken Russian submarine, the Sevastopol.
Ethan, alongside Grace, Benji, Luther, and new allies Paris and Theo Degas, embarks on a perilous mission to retrieve the core module, known as the "Rabbit's Foot." Their objective is to prevent the Entity from gaining control over the world's nuclear arsenal.
As the team navigates treacherous underwater environments and high-stakes confrontations, they face off against Gabriel, a former associate of Ethan's and the Entity's human liaison. The mission culminates in a dramatic aerial battle where Ethan confronts Gabriel, ultimately leading to Gabriel's demise.
With the aid of Grace and the late Luther's devised "Poison Pill" malware, the team successfully traps the Entity within a secure hard drive, neutralizing its threat. The film concludes with the IMF team parting ways, leaving Ethan to reflect on the sacrifices made and the uncertain future ahead.
