🧩 Plot Summary

Baahubali 2: The Conclusion picks up where the first film left off, unraveling the mystery behind Kattappa's betrayal. After defeating the Kalakeyas, Amarendra Baahubali is declared heir to the throne of Mahishmati, with his cousin Bhallaladeva appointed as commander-in-chief. During a kingdom tour, Baahubali meets and falls in love with Princess Devasena of Kuntala. However, political machinations by Bhallaladeva and his father Bijjaladeva lead to Baahubali's dethronement and eventual assassination by Kattappa, who is bound by duty. Years later, Baahubali's son, Mahendra Baahubali (Shivudu), learns of his heritage and vows to avenge his father's death. With the help of Kattappa and his allies, he challenges Bhallaladeva's tyrannical rule, culminating in a climactic battle that restores justice and peace to Mahishmati.
